We’re looking for an energetic, research-focused individual who wants to continue driving research, following the latest publications and build some really cool tech. Most of what you’ll be doing will be something very few people have done, and you’ll be making many contributions back to the open-source community.

If you’ve taken courses in data systems (such as this one: http://daslab.seas.harvard.edu/classes/cs165/) and have a grasp on concepts such as scans, joins, LSM trees, B+Trees, and Key/Value stores we encourage you to apply. Experience with SIMD is a plus! You’ll also need to understand TCP networking and concepts around data system replication.

Technology you’ll need to feel confident to code in

Definitely C(++) on Linux, and you may find yourself in Scala, Java, or Rust.
